Our services range from determining glasses to detecting and treating serious diseases or changes in and on the eye. Our modern treatment devices enable you to receive optimal care.
In order to discover diseases in the best possible way and then treat them, we have a large number of state-of-the-art, efficient and, above all, painless diagnostic devices that can analyze your eye comprehensively and detect and display diseases at an early stage.
As an operative eye center, we carry out procedures on the front section of the eye both on an outpatient and inpatient basis. These include the treatment of cataracts, macular degeneration and glaucoma as well as intravitreal administration of medication to the eye.
The development of vision in children is particularly important to us. Early detection of poor eyesight is particularly important in young children to avoid permanent visual impairment. Specialized orthoptists take care of the eyes of our little patients. In a separate area, adapted to children's needs - and of course always in cooperation with our ophthalmologists.
Eye emergencies can have a variety of causes and often require immediate investigation to prevent permanent damage. For emergencies, we are available at any time during opening hours. For emergencies outside of our office hours, please contact the medical emergency service (116117). This will forward you to the appropriate ophthalmologist on duty.
We look after the inpatients at the Bayreuth Clinic and the Hohe Warte.
This also includes the diagnostics and therapy of premature babies (prematurity retinopathy).
Are you dissatisfied with your current glasses or do you need new ones? Our employed master opticians take care of and advise you comprehensively in addition to our team of doctors.
This includes in particular the supply of prisms, workplace and office glasses, as well as magnifying special glasses. We also work with experts in the low vision area.
As an eye center, we also issue various types of reports for you. These include driving license reports, police reports, pension reports and court reports etc.
