treatment and prevention

Good vision is a part of quality of life that needs to be protected. We at the KAMPPETER EYE CENTER are at your side to provide you with expert advice when it comes to making your personal vision as optimal as possible and maintaining it into old age.

Eye diagnostics

In order to be able to detect diseases as best as possible and then treat them effectively, we have a variety of state-of-the-art, efficient and, above all, painless diagnostic devices that can comprehensively analyze your eye and detect and display diseases at an early stage.

surgical care

As a surgical eye center, we perform procedures on the anterior segment of the eye on both an outpatient and inpatient basis. These include the treatment of cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and intravitreal medication administration to the eye.

emergency care

Eye emergencies can have a variety of causes. Immediate examination is often necessary to prevent permanent damage.

For acute emergencies we are available during selected opening hours.

For emergencies outside of our office hours, please contact the medical emergency service (116117). They will direct you to the appropriate ophthalmologist on duty.

Ophthalmology for Children with Vision School

The development of children's vision is particularly important to us. Detecting visual impairments early is particularly important in small children in order to avoid permanent visual impairment. Specialized orthoptists look after the eyes of our young patients. In a separate area, adapted to the child's needs - and of course always in cooperation with our ophthalmologists.

Refraction

Are you dissatisfied with your current glasses or do you need new ones? Our employed master opticians will take care of you and provide you with comprehensive advice in addition to our medical team.

This includes in particular the supply of prisms, workplace and office glasses, as well as special magnifying glasses. We also work with experts in the low vision sector.

attending physicians

We care for the inpatients of the Bayreuth Clinic and the Hohe Warte.

This also includes the diagnosis and treatment of premature babies (retinopathy of prematurity).

Appraise

As an eye center, we also issue various types of reports for you. These include driver's license reports, reports for employment in the police force, pension reports and court reports, etc.
